INCLUSIVE EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS IN UZBEKISTAN

On April 29 the National University of Uzbekistan named after M. Ulugbek conducted the Republican Research Conference on “Social protection of motherhood and childhood in the modernization of Uzbek society” organized in partnership with the Republican Center for Social Adaptation of Children (RCSAC) and Youth Center “Yetakchi”.

The conference was attended by the Senators of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Public Education, Ministry of Health, Association “SOSChildren Villages of Uzbekistan”, UNICEF, Public Youth Movement “Kamolot”, “Mahalla” Foundation, as well as professors of HEIs, researchers and students.

The Republican Center for Social Adaptation of Children made several presentations in the conference in the section of “Social protection and integration of children with special needs in the society” that emphasized the achievements in the frame of the project “Inclusive Education of Children with Special Needs in Uzbekistan”.

Presentations and position papers of the conference were included in the Collection of Research Works.
