INCLUSIVE EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS IN UZBEKISTAN

Maksuda Muhsinbaeva: “As a participant of this event I also received the gift, but from the childthat was the bunch of yellow, orange, red and even black Dutch tulips that were cultivated by him… These were the most beautiful flowers that I have ever received as a gift”.

“The sun shines for all the same” was the motto of the conference that has been organized on April 2 in the School of Music and Arts №11 in Namangan by the Regional Department of Public Education with the support of the Regional Commission for Minors, Prosecutor’s Office, Khokimiat of Namangan city, and the Newsletter “Болалар дунёси” (The world of children).

The major participants of the event were children with special needs and their parents. According to the agenda it was organized a huge exhibition of creative works done by children, concert programme with the participation of creative group of the kindergarten №6, which was liked by all participants.

During the opening ceremony the Khokim of Namangan city Bahodir Bekhodjaev, Head of the Regional Department of Public Education Vahobjon Rajapov, representative of the Newsletter “Болалар дунёси” (The world of children) Mardon Esonboev and others congratulated and wished all the best to all participants.

Director of the Resource Center and pilot inclusive school №11 Uktamhon Mirzaeva has also made the presentation. All speakers have stated that each child regardless of his needs is important and his education and learning is of state importance. The role of teachers and selflessness were separately emphasized in the education of children.

Greeting speeches were rotated with the presentations of children, who have presented us their best concert programme: their songs, poetry, dance, and play in musical instruments.
Applauses didn’t stop and the concert hall was touched deeply by predominated sincere and happy environment. Of course, every performer came to the event with presents. For instance, when one of the performers asked the organizers for a computer, Khokim of the city said that he will personally make him such a gift.

That day every child received a gift from organizers. At the end, all children and their parents were invited for the enormous ceremonial lunch organized by the local restaurant “Arbat”.
