INCLUSIVE EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS IN UZBEKISTAN

April 15, 2016 – members of Diplomat Women Club (DWC) in Tashkent visited the EU Delegation in Uzbekistan to be acquainted with the current projects and activities in the frame of the cooperation between the EU and Uzbekistan.

The Diplomat Women Club is informal association composed of women representatives of international organizations, women Ambassadors and spouses of foreign Ambassadors/ Heads of Missions representing different countries and organizations in Uzbekistan. The Head of the EU
Delegation, Ambassador Yuri Sterk welcomed the participants of the meeting- members of the Diplomatic Women Club.

The members of the Club had a great opportunity to hear the presentation of the project expert team, as well as to have a talk with parents of children with special needs to get to know more about the development of inclusive education in Tashkent.
