INCLUSIVE EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS IN UZBEKISTAN

A meeting of the Parents’ Club was conducted in Samarkand on July 10, 2015, where parents of children both with special needs and of other children have met. Under the Project implementation, the parents have rallied around the idea to integrate their children into the society as much as possible. At these meetings parents who have concerns about transferring their child from a specialized school into mainstream school, get answers to their questions, and most importantly, get support and understanding. This was the second meeting of the Parents’ Club in Samarkand. It was decided to hold such meetings more often, because parents always need support.
